DigitalTown, in conjunction with the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), hereby announces a new fund-raising co-initiative that can greatly benefit your school's athletics programs.
In order to be eligible to take part in DigitalTown's revenue sharing program, your school's Athletic Director must be a dues paying member of the NIAAA. For more information about the NIAAA, visit their homepage at www.niaaa.org. To apply for membership, fill out the NIAAA Membership Application.
Standard Revenue Sharing
Included with your membership in the NIAAA, your school is automatically enrolled in our standard revenue sharing program wherein your school and the NIAAA can receive up to 50% of the proceeds from the sales of the 4-1 line Choice Sponsor Ads found in the top banner of your school's Spirit Site on the DigitalTown network. To find your school on our network, simply combine the school name and mascot into a single URL address (for example - www.brooklinewarriors.com
) or visit www.digitaltown.com
and enter your school's name in the "find school" search box.
Enhanced Revenue Sharing
Your school and the NIAAA can receive up to 50% of the revenue of the Prime Site Sponsor Ad sold by DigitalTown on your school's Spirit Site (the Leaderboard ad at the top of the site). The bulk of the funds will be distributed to the local school with a portion distributed to our partner the NIAAA. Funds will be distributed 3 times annually on July 30th, November 30th, and March 30th. In order to be eligible for the Enhanced Revenue Sharing Program, all you need to do is place a link on your school's official web page to the corresponding Spirit Site page (home page, basketball, football, or boys or girls' lacrosse). This will help both your official site and your school's Spirit Site within the DigitalTown network achieve higher rankings within the major search engines like Google and Bing as well as raising additional funds for and promoting your school's athletics programs. Feel free to use one of the buttons below or any link of your own design. When the link is up on your page, email us at email@example.com
with the address where we can find the link or a screen shot of the link on your page.
Schools with a no advertising policy may opt out of either or both programs by simply sending an email requesting that we not include you in any fund raising or revenue sharing to firstname.lastname@example.org
